Skill Tree Paths

Attacker, Forge Master, or Survivor — which skill tree path fits your playstyle, when to switch, and how each path affects your dungeon clears and progression.

1

Skill Tree Overview

Iron Soul Dungeon has three skill tree paths, each specializing in a different aspect of gameplay. Your skill path choice affects how you clear dungeons, what resources you gain, and how durable your character is. You can respect later, but early choices shape your progression speed.

2

Attacker — Best for Beginners

The Attacker path focuses on raw damage output. It's the best choice for beginners because faster dungeon clears mean more resources per session. Attacker helps you kill monsters quicker, which means more Crystallized Ore, more experience, and faster level progression. Choose this first, then respec later if needed.

3

Forge Master — Gear Progression

Forge Master specializes in crafting bonuses. It makes the forge system more efficient, letting you create and upgrade weapons with fewer materials or better results. Choose this when your priority shifts from clearing speed to gear optimization. It's especially powerful once you have a good race and want to min-max your weapon.

4

Survivor — Defensive Play

Survivor focuses on survivability — more HP, better healing, damage reduction. It's best for harder content where you're dying too often and losing uptime. If you're struggling with dungeons above your level, Survivor can help you push through. It's slower for farming but safer for progression.

5

When to Switch Paths

Start with Attacker for fast early clears. Switch to Forge Master once you have a good race and want to focus on weapon upgrades. Use Survivor when you hit a difficulty wall and need more durability. There's no penalty for switching, so adapt to what you need at each stage of the game.
